Your first scan

One photo.
A useful starting point.

Set up your profile once. Your next check-in starts with a front-facing photo.

A good photo in three steps

  1. Keep the camera level on a stable surface. Face forward with your head and feet visible and a little room around your body.
  2. Stand naturally, with your arms slightly away from your sides. Use even light, a simple background, and close-fitting, opaque clothing.
  3. Choose your photo, agree to processing, and create your check-in. No second angle or video is needed.

Use a JPG, PNG, or WebP under 25 MB, at least 300 × 600 pixels. A recent computer with an up-to-date browser works best.

Focus on what matters

Track body-fat percentage, fat mass, lean mass, waist, and waist-to-height ratio. Applicable reference categories show every band and highlight where your value falls. Lean mass includes more than muscle.

These are wellness estimates. Clothing, lighting, and camera setup affect results. A photo does not measure visceral fat, bone density, or fat in individual body regions.

Your progress, day by day

Use similar clothing, stance, lighting, camera position, and time of day. Multiple scans on the same calendar day are averaged for each matching metric. The line connects daily averages; smaller points and the chart’s table show individual scans.

Days use your browser’s time zone, shown below the chart. Earlier capture methods stay in history, with separate trend lines when results are not directly comparable.

A familiar view, with a little focus

Your front photo adds detail to the visible surface and fades smoothly into a neutral material. A soft teal band highlights the waist measurement region. It is a visual guide, not a map of body fat.

Switch between Photo detail and Shape. Comparisons use the same rest pose and physical scale. Body views always represent individual scans, even when the numbers show a daily average.

Personal by design

Your original photo is processed on your device and is not uploaded. Measurements, notes, and a body view containing photo-derived face and clothing detail are saved privately to your account. Your first scan downloads processing resources; use Wi-Fi and keep the page open.
